THE SYNERGY STORY 

Synergy was born from the imagination and determination of Stefan Laursen, who grew up in Denmark with a deep connecton to nature, the water, and endurance sport. 

At just 13 years old, driven by a desire to compete in his first triathlon, Stefan found himself needing a wetsuit he could afford. Instead of giving up, he sourced the materials and crafted his own by hand.  

By 16, Stefan had turned professional, blending his Scandinavian sensibility for form and function with relentless athletic drive. 

A few years later, he place 2nd in the USA Professional USAT Championship and eventually qualified for the Danish Olympic Team. Unfortunately, Stefan was unable to compete at the 2000 Sydney Olympics due to a Achilles tendinitis.  

As fellow athletes began to take notice of the performance and craftmanship of his wetsuits, Synergy natually evolved into a brand trusted by professional triathlets around the world. 

From those early days in Denmark to the global stage, Stefan's vision has remained the same; to create gear that gives athletes a real advantage.
